We might think that idols are just referring to those statues people worshiped, but there is definitely a modern take to this. We can idolize anything: people, cars, books, music, food. We place those irrelevant things before God, which is so wrong. We shouldn’t idolize people or celebrities or shows or the internet. God is before all, He is better than all. We must be careful not to place anything before Him.
